History

SENDIN Armatures is a company founded in 1994 by Arturo Sendin Alvarez, beginning the reinforcement fixing installation activity. At the time, Sendin employed 25 skilled employees (works managers, site managers, labourers).

By work and determination, a serious and rigorous approach, starting in 2001, the turnover increased every year. The company grew, as did the staff numbers and the capital grew too. The led to Sendin Armatures becoming the Sendin SA Group in 2002, consolidating its market shares and endeavouring to diversify.

In 2005, it reached its industrial turning point under the authority of Sergio Sendin, General Director of the Group with the production of metal reinforcement fixings for supply to installation sites. This resulted in the first workshop being built in 2005 at Saint-Marcel (27), then in 2007 at Chilly-Mazarin (91), in 2009 at Darnetal (76). Under the name of Sendin AS, these four facilities now produce the equivalent of 5000 tons of reinforcement fixings every month. There is also a new generation facility under construction at Teruel, Spain. It will be on line on September 1, 2010 with a 22,200 m2 covered area and a production capacity of 6000 tons per month, starting in 2011.

Constantly seeking to develop and find new projects, the Sendin family has also founded a trading department (welded mesh, long bars, flat products etc) under the responsibility of Anne-Marie Charrier-Sendin.

The Sendin group now employs more than 1000 partners (full-time employees and temps considered together).

As reinforcement installation leader, the Sendin Group diversified and by means of its 3 factories, manufactures traditional standard or tailor-made reinforcement fixings.

With its latest generation machines, the Sendin group factories use cutting edge techniques.

The Sendin factories are a guarantee of:

The 3 Sendin factories: at Chilly-Mazarin 91, at Darnetal 76 and at Teruel (Spain), the factories specialise in cut-bent-assembled products. Finally, the historical workshop at Saint-Marcel, converted into a Trading platform.
